The Vestments of Stendarr

Stendarr's vigilants wore these into the Desecrated Temples. Some of the vigilants came back; all of the robes did.

The Vestments of Stendarr is an entry in the Legendary items database, listed under Clothing.

  • Iron Atronach corpse (level 21, boss): 4.5% of eligible pieces roll Legendary; it is the only record that fits, so every Legendary of this kind is this one; about 4.5% per piece
  • Fire Atronach corpse (level 16, plain foe): 0.13% of eligible pieces roll Legendary; it is the only record that fits, so every Legendary of this kind is this one; about 0.13% per piece
  • Dragon's den treasure pile (tier 18), a place of another family: 2.9% of eligible pieces roll Legendary; it is the only record that fits, so every Legendary of this kind is this one; about 2.9% per piece

How it drops

Where it drops

There is no monster that carries The Vestments of Stendarr and no chest that holds it. A garment drops first (Priest Robes, Priestess Robes), and if that piece rolls Legendary on the ladder, the game picks one named record that fits it. Records found among Daedra sources weigh five to one, so The Vestments of Stendarr is far likelier from the places listed here. Any weapon, armour or jewellery in any corpse or treasure pile can be rolled, so a source of another family can still give it, at the lower odds shown on the last line.

Getting the base piece

A piece has to drop before it can be Legendary. These come from the loot tables (see Loot tables) and from what a foe carries. The odds above are per eligible piece, at Luck 50, with no finders. Luck, Foxglove and a long dry spell multiply them, as the Item rarity page explains.

Items (legendary pieces made from it)

Loot rarity is on by default and forced on online. A Legendary is the second rung from the top of the ladder (Common, Magic, Rare, Legendary, Aetheric, Artifact, Gilded). Its bonuses are fixed; only its condition varies. Foes of its family drop it five times as readily as any other.
