What people say

Questor Offer

The best way to get in good with the temple is to heal someone. I know of a case that might do the trick for you, [your name]. Are you willing?

I am [giver]. You aren't high in the hierarchy of [giver's town]. I might be able to speak favorably of you if you were to find a way to cure someone I know.

Refuse Quest

If you aren't even willing or able to do a simple healing, I surely can't recommend you to temple leaders.

Accept Quest

[cousin] in [cousin's place] is suffering from an unusual disease. I was about to dispatch a cleric to treat [him/her]. I will delay them a day or so. If you can find a cure it would increase your favor with [giver's town]. I can only give you [questtime] days.

Quest Fail

[the quest date]: I have been given the chance by [giver] of [giver's town] in [giver's place] to heal [cousin] of [cousin's place]. If I do not have [him/her] healed in [questtime] days someone else will be sent to do the job instead.

Quest Complete

[cousin] looks much healthier to you. Obviously, [he/she] is cured.

Rumors During Quest

Poor [cousin]. How that [cousin] suffers!

Rumors Postfailure

[giver] of [giver's town] is plenty furious with that [your race].

Rumors Postsuccess

That [cousin] who was cured was [giver] of [giver's town]'s cousin.

Questor Postsuccess

I have heard that [cousin] was cured. [a god] bless thee, [your first name]. What do you need?

Questor Postfailure

[cousin] has died, and I blame thee, [your first name].

Message 1025

I'll be watching you. Remember, the patient's name is [cousin] and [he/she] is in [cousin's place]. You have [questtime] days to prove yourself. --duplicate 1006 removed

Wilt thou do this?

Message 1012

I heard about [his/her] disease. Some say that [healer] of [healer's place] has a cure.

Message 1013

Hello there. Yes, I have heard of [cousin] of [cousin's place] and [his/her] problem. Caliron's Curse it is. Often mistaken for Gray Fever. Anyway, I do have a some Hoar Frost Root that will cure it. It can only be used once though. I'll sell it to you for 20 gold.

Message 1014

Do you wish to buy the Hoar Frost Root?

Message 1015

I'm sorry, you don't seem to have enough gold for the Hoar Frost Root.

Message 1016

Thank you, [your name]. I will use the Hoar Frost Root. I really can't thank you enough. I hope the rest of your travels are safe for you.
